About Us

St Rose Philippine Duchesne Assembly 2260

  1.  Who Are The Knights of Columbus?

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

What is The Patriotic Degree?

The primary purpose of the Patriotic Degree, also known as the 4th Degree, is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local 4th Degree groups (called "assemblies").

Completing Your Journey As A Knight

For most men who follow Jesus, there comes a time when duty extends beyond our own lives, beyond how we lead our families, and into how we serve our fellow man. That’s what the Knights of Columbus is all about. The Patriotic Degree allows knights to take this one step further. “Sir Knight” is more than a title. It’s an honor.

Chalice Presentation 2021

Father Chadwick receives the Chalice.

Last year the Assembly presented Father Keith Chadwick (a member of our Assembly) with our Memorial Chalice. The chalice had the names of the following Sir Knights inscribed on it who were called home to our Lord last year:

Sir Knight Mark Poelzl, Sir Knight Rodney Schieffer, Sir Knight George Lingenfelse Sr, and Sir Knight Monsignor Robert Bergman. They will be remembered in Father Chadwick's prayers.

Our thanks all the Sir Knights who participated in the presentation and Mass.
